Marvin Candle, also known as Mark Wickmund is the narrator of the Swan Orientation Film (using the name Dr. Marvin Candle) and the Pearl Orientation Video (using the name Dr. Mark Wickmund). Which of these names, if either, are his real name, is currently unknown, as is the reason for him having two different names.

He is portrayed by actor François Chau, and is a member of the DHARMA Initiative. He may have a prosthetic left arm - in the Swan video he has, but in the Pearl video he does not. Also in the Lost Season 2 Bonus Features Disc he is not shown with the prosthetic.
