The Pearl notebooks were several notebooks that were dumped in the capsule dump coming from the Pearl station. They appeared to have varying models because the caps appeared to have different sizes and colors.

In "?", it was revealed that the Pearl's inhabitants were instructed to observe and record in the notebooks, any events that occurred in other DHARMA Initiative stations. In "Live Together, Die Alone, Part 2", Kate opened a notebook and read:

"0400: S.R. moves ping-pong table again. 04 15: Takes a Shower"
