Just as the [[Pearl Orientation Video|Pearl Orientation Video]] uses a more recent medium than the Swan Orientation Film (i.e. [[U-matic]] tape versus 16mm film, respectively), the computer terminal inside the Pearl uses a typeface with serifs, a feature of slightly more advanced computers. However note that the Swan Computer's [[System Failure]] message utilized a typeface with serifs.
