BACKGROUND
- Born Naveen William Sidney Andrews in London, England of Indian origin on January 17, 1969
- Has a penchant for older women (told to Tony Danza on talkshow)
- Raised in Wandsworth, South London (beside the River Thames) to a fairly conservative family
- When he was 16, he fell in love with his Mathematics teacher, Geraldone Feakins who bore his child, Jaisal, in 1992
- Naveen (which means "new" in Hindi)
- was quoted in an interview later on saying that "[his] father would call [him] a prostitute"
- albeit being famous at his school "for going out with a maths teacher."
- Was accepted at London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Ewan McGregor and David Thewlis
- Is best known for his role as that "Sikh bloke" in The English Patient (1996)
- Lives in Los Angeles, California with his girlfriend, actress Barbara Hershey (who is 21 years his senior.)
