Sayid found a metal bracelet on Naomi's body soon after her death. Engraved on the inside of it was the phrase: N, I’ll always be with you. R.G. ("The Economist")
After leaving the Island, Sayid saw a similar bracelet on Elsa moments after killing her. Though no direct connection existed between the two items, Elsa's bracelet served as an "emotional touchstone" for Sayid, reminding him of Naomi.[1]
