Nancy is a tail section background extra survivor of Oceanic Flight 815.
On the Island
Season 2 (Days 1-12)
Nancy is pulled out of the water by Eko. ("The Other 48 Days") (promotional still)
After the tail section broke off Flight 815 and crashed into the ocean, a dazed Nancy was pulled out of the water and dragged onto the beach by Mr. Eko. After surviving the crash, she sits and rests on the beach. That night, she is awoken to find out three of her fellow survivors were kidnapped by the Others.
On Day 5, Nancy attended Donald's funeral with the rest of the survivors. The night of Day 12, Nancy was among nine "tailies" kidnapped by a group of Others, and Libby was the first to notice her disappearance. Nancy's name and physical description was found on a list inside the pocket of a female Other that Ana Lucia had tackled and killed during the kidnapping.
After crashing into the ocean, Nancy was pulled out of the water by Mr. Eko after the crash. After the crash, Nancy is seen sitting on the beach. That first night on the Island, three of the survivors were kidnapped by the Others. ("The Other 48 Days")
It is unknown if Nancy joined The Others like Cindy and several other tailies, as she was not seen after "The Other 48 Days".
Flash sideways
Nancy was collecting her luggage. ("Happily Ever After")
After Flight 815 landed in LAX safely, Nancy was seen collecting her luggage near Claire and Desmond. ("LA X, Part 2") ("Happily Ever After") Although portrayed by a different actress, who was younger and had a different hairstyle, this woman was likely to be Nancy, due to her being an African-American, and wore the same yellow blouse and white pants as Nancy.
