• Nadine was brought to the Island as a Candidate as well as the rest of the team, but her candidacy expired shortly after her arrival, allowing her to be dispatched by The Man in Black fairly quickly and easily.

• Danielle Rousseau claims she was the first to be infected, but events of This Place Is Death reveal she was murdered almost immediately upon arrival. This could be down to Danielle's understandably hazy memory of events, as proved in previous statements she's made, or her interpreting any interaction with The Man in Black in his monster form as infection/being infected.
