Ms. Honolulu, aka "Lulu", is a female Airedale-terrier mix adopted by Lost executive producer and director Jack Bender from the Hawaiian Humane Society.[1] She now belongs to costume designer Roland Sanchez.[2] Lulu is often seen around the set of Lost and has become a mascot of sorts to the cast and crew. She avoided rules restricting animals from sets by being cast in "I Do", although Lulu was not visible in the final cut of that episode. Mary Dang, Bender's assistant, cares for "Lulu" off-set.

Lulu is often on the set of Lost. She was visible chasing goats in the background of "The Cost of Living" when Eko returned from the airport. Lulu was also featured in a promotional still for "The Man from Tallahassee". A painting of Lulu was featured in "The Man Behind the Curtain", in Jacob's house.

Lulu appears in the extra featurette "Lost in a Day" as well as being featured in an easter egg on the Lost: The Complete Third Season (DVD). She was visible in "The Constant" at Oxford University just before Desmond found Faraday. She is also introduced in the February 8, 2008 Official Lost Video Podcast by Roland Sanchez.

Lulu also appeared as a dog on a convenience store t-shirt in "Because You Left" .

She made her final appearance in a flash sideways in the series finale. A background character is walking her when Sayid and Hurley pull up to the Flightline Motel, where Charlie is staying.[3] ("The End")
