A number of Moths have appeared on Lost.

Appearances

• Locke shows a moth cocoon to Charlie, explaining that the moth needs to struggle to break free. "Nature and struggle make people stronger", paralleling the moth's struggle to Charlie's own struggle with his heroin addiction. ("The Moth")
• After a cave-in, Charlie and Jack follow a moth to safety. ("The Moth")

• At the end of the same episode, after throwing his heroin into the fire, Charlie looks up and sees a moth flying away. ("The Moth")

• A moth is seen flying into The Black Rock while Richard struggles to loose his chains ("Ab Aeterno")
