Mikhail's document
Main Discussion
Theories may be removed if ...
  1. Stated as questions or possibilities (avoid question marks, "Maybe", "I think", etc).
  2. More appropriate for another article.
  3. Illogical or previously disproven.
  4. Proven by canon source, and moved to main article.
  5. Speculative and lacking any evidence to support arguments.
  6. Responding to another theory (use discussion page instead).
  • This does not include responses that can stand alone as its own theory.
  • Usage of an indented bullet does not imply the statement is a response.

See the Lostpedia theory policy for more details.

Andrey[]

  • The Andrey referred to in the document is the same Andrey who wrote the notations.
    • This is one of Lost's famous Character connections, assuming the document is documenting Mikhail's experiences in Afghanistan. Mikhail knew Andrey in Afghanistan, and sent the document to one of the other Others who he heard was from Afghanistan (in order to have it edited), neither one realizing that the Andrey referred to in the document is the same Andrey reading it.

Nadji[]

  • Could be the same name as "Nadjeev", referring to Sayid's flashback assumed name in "Enter 77".

Other theories[]

  • Could be a story that Mikhail is writing based on his experiences in Afghanistan.
    • There seem to be at least two people involved. The most likely possibility is that Mikhail either wrote the document or annotated the document in red. If he annotated the document, he lied about his name. If he wrote the document, the annotations would either have to have been written by another Afghanistan veteran on the island (likely) or there would have to be a high-quality printer connected to the communications system (due to the high quality of the letters and their serifs in the document - which is unlikely).
