St. Sebastian Hospital

Dr. Jack Shephard main article		Jack Shephard is a doctor and leader-figure of the Middle Section. He has control issues and trouble dealing with situations that he cannot fix. However, these are also attributes that lend him the ability to function well in a crisis. When his father performed surgery under the influence of alcohol, causing the death of a young woman, Jack initially covered for his father by lying during the inquest. He later changed his statement after being informed that the woman was pregnant at the time of her death. When two patients arrived at St Sebastians following a car crash, Jack chose to treat his future wife, Sarah Shephard, forgoing the oppurtunity to treat the other patient, Shannon's father Adam Rutherford, who died shortly afterwards.
Dr. Christian Shephard main article		Christian Shephard was the Chief of Surgery at St. Sebastian Hospital, where Jack also worked. Refused to operate on Angelo Busoni Operated on a patient under the influence of alcohol, inadvertently causing her death. Lost his medical license after Jack reported him for performing surgery under the influence.
Head Doctor main article		Head Doctor The head doctor of St. Sebastian's peer review panel appears in "All the Best Cowboys Have Daddy Issues." and reveals the fact that Jack's father's patient that he killed by operating drunk was pregnant, thus making Christian liable for not one, but two, deaths. This startles Jack into reneging on his promise to his father to lie that the death was accidental. Thus, not-so-dear old dad loses his hospital privileges and is estranged from Jack.
Anesthesiologists main article second main article		The first Anesthesiologist was present during the surgery performed by Jack on Beth at St. Sebastian Hospital in "Man of Science, Man of Faith." There was also the Anesthesiologist No. 2, a different person, also working with Jack at St. Sebastian Hospital (on Sarah) in "All the Best Cowboys Have Daddy Issues."
Nurse main article		Works in the department of surgery Took care of John Locke after kidney surgery, in "Deus Ex Machina" Also worked with Jack Shephard in "A Tale of Two Cities"
Second Nurse main article		Never actually appeared in the episode, but was supposed to be the one to ask Sabrina Carlyle if she and Shannon would like to see the deceased Adam Rutherford.
Doctor main article		Told Shannon and Sabrina that Adam Rutherford died.
Andrea main article		Andrea is an intern from "All the Best Cowboys Have Daddy Issues."
Doctor main article		This doctor treated Jack's cut on his forehead. Her ID badge layout matches that of Dr. Hamill and Jack, and assuming that Mrs. Arlen was brought to the same ER as Jack, this doctor works at St. Sebastian Hospital("Through the Looking Glass, Part 1")
Rob Hamill main article		Dr. Hamill is treating Mrs. Arlen and interacted frequently with Jack regarding her care. ("Through the Looking Glass, Part 1")
Dr. Gary Nadler main article		Dr. Nadler is an unseen character who was named by Dr. Hamill as the surgeon scheduled to operate on Mrs. Arlen. He shares a surname with dentist and Oceanic Flight 815 crash survivor Bernard Nadler.

Mikhail Bakunin main article		Mikhail patches up Sayid's arm in "Enter 77." Later, in "D.O.C.," Mikhail explains that he was a field medic in the army, and fixes Naomi's wound in exchange for his freedom.

Miscellaneous

• Tom Brennan is Kate's childhood sweetheart, an internal medicine doctor for St Francis Hospital (Iowa)
• Dr. Ian McVay is an undertaker. He was the doctor who attempted to perform an autopsy on Charlotte Malkin after her "death"; he was contacted by Mr. Eko as a result of the investigation into the Malkin miracle. Dr. McVay claimed that Charlotte never actually died, and provided Eko with a recording of what he claimed to be a failed autopsy that was stopped when Charlotte was resurrected. Eko listens to the recording and leaves Dr. McVay in pursuit of more evidence.
• Dr. Kim is the fertility doctor that Sun and Jin see in flashback in "The Whole Truth", when trying to have a child before the crash. Dr. Kim was apparently the bearer of the unfortunate news that Sun was unable to bear children, but later confessed that he had lied; it was Jin who was infertile - Dr. Kim was afraid of what Jin would do if made aware of the real situation.
• Matthew Reed is a counselor for the LAPD. Reed declared Ana-Lucia as fit to return to duty
• A medical examiner seen in the morgue is the person who tells Jack that his father is dead, played by Geoff Heise who also plays the man on the beach that screams "stay away from the gas". ("Pilot, Part 1")
• Michael's nurse is a character who appears in flashback in "Special". She converses with Michael regarding children and the sunburned penguin joke ("What's black and white and red all over?"); she says she has 4 children.
• The morgue employee was based in Miami, and asked Juliet to sign papers regarding her former husband's body. ("Not in Portland")
• Dr. Woodruff was Claire's mother's doctor after she was involved in a car crash.
• This ER doctor was present at the hospital Claire and her mother went to after the car accident. ("Par Avion")
• Bernard worked as a dentist before the crash.
• The head nurse informed Claire that there was a new American doctor in the room with her mother. This doctor turned out to be her father, Christian Shephard. ("Par Avion")
• Dr. Kincaid, Esquire was the name of a metafictional hit television series by Howard L. Zukerman. ("Exposé")
• Dr. Bae assisted Sun-Hwa Kwon's delivery of Ji Yeon Kwon at Choogdong Hospital in 2005. ("Ji Yeon")
• Libby trained as a young medical student before dropping out in her first year, undertaking practice to become a clinical psychologist instead. ("The Other 48 Days")
• The ER doctor who helped Emily Annabeth Locke deliver John ("Cabin Fever")
• Dr. Miller called over the P.A. in "Cabin Fever"
• The physical therapist at the Delerue Center for Rehabilitation who treated Locke for the injuries he sustained in his fall. ("Cabin Fever")

Only appearing in The Lost Experience

• Dr. Thomas Mittelwerk is the "heir apparent" to Alvar Hanso in leading the the Hanso Foundation. His doctorate seems to be questionable.
• Dr. Armand Zander is the director of the Vik Institute; specializes in psychiatry. He knows about a secret ward in the subbasement, where they are running the Valenzetti equation over and over again with autistic savants and mathematicians. Dr. Zander Disappeared shortly after meeting with Rachel Blake
• Dr. Hackett works at the Engineering Development Center
• Dr. Amy Honale was mentioned in the Captown Inquirer article as working for the South African Hanso hospital embroiled in an illegal organ harvest scandal
• Dr. Eliza Vasquez was the physician who treated Alvar Hanso after his myocardial infarction at his Narvik Villa. She drew blood without his consent while he was unconscious. She then became very concerned about blood results, and tried unsuccessfully to contact him on multiple occasions by mail.
• Dr. Kini headed Project Sumo
• Dr. Perez was also involved in Project Sumo
• Nurse "Sophia" was the former nurse of Mittelwerk. Rachel Blake tried to convince her to turn informant for her, but didn't have enough money to bribe her to give all her information.
