Mayhew was a freighter mercenary who died after being attacked by the Monster.
Season 4
Mayhew was one of the mercenaries to accompany Martin Keamy to the Island. During the Monster attack, Mayhew was thrown 50 feet into the air, badly injuring him. He was carried by the other mercenaries back to the helicopter. ("Something Nice Back Home") He was later seen dead on the freighter upon arrival. Desmond remarked that Mayhew did not have any gunshot wounds. ("Cabin Fever")
