Improved Job List?[]
Can it really be that only one page needs a clean up? I suspect not. I think it's simply that many users aren't aware of how to nominate for cleanups, rewrites, etc. Generally, I think it would be of benefit to Lostpedia if the Job List became more dynamic. It'll give folk more impetus to get involved and make contributions. so here are my suggestions of how to progress:
- Make the Job List display the actual jobs (or first 10 jobs) within the categories, rather than only the category names.
- Add a simple, brief guide to the top of the page explaining how users can nominate pages and use the tags correctly.
- Include pages nominated for deletion, merge and renaming votes.
The more visibly these items are flagged as needing attention, the more likely they are to be actioned and hopefully would make the Job List a regular port of call when users log on.--TechNic|talk|conts 18:50, 11 April 2007 (PDT)
