I nominate Our Mutual Friend. Not a long bloated article but it's to the point. - I know this is early, but I nominate Desmond's article, since the finale has pushed him into a greater importance. Since his backstory was just recently revealed as well, I believe this would be a good featured article. It's also quite well written, in my opinion.

- There has just been a major overhaul to the article on Stephen King. His involvement is a much debated subject. The article provides factual references with theories. For those who like to speculate theorize and LOVE rumors it is good research.--Jasoncarubia 07:27, 13 June 2006 (PDT)

- Once again nobody wrote an article for this week. I don't think the articles nominated represent the best of what the wiki has to offer, IMHO. The article on Desmond, for example, is good, but is mostly just bullet points. It needs to have an introductory section and summary at the top.

- David LaChapelle US/Canada viewers are generally not aware of the UK promo videos (featuring the actual cast dancing on the beach) which are of general interest. Other international viewers are also likely unaware of these. Therefore a front page feature will introduce these to the casual fan viewing the front page of Lostpedia. - There is some stuff scattered throughout parody worth gathering on a page, and there's a lot more out there on youtube as well. also the David LaChapelle nomination is seconded here, because it's a really nice promo (especially the cut with the portishead soundtrack). the information in the article is a little bit wrong though, cos they did air that version a few times on E4 in the runup to the launch of S1.
- Also, you are correct in that LostPedia:Canon needs more visibility, imo - i also think that with a bit of tweaking, LostPedia:Talk and the guide for n00bs i've mentioned there could potentially be very useful pages. kaini. 20:42, 18 June 2006 (PDT)

I would like to nominate an article that Kaini and I have been working feverishly on over the last week entitled economics. The article is a detailed investigation on the themes of resource allocaiton, and specifically the two competing philosophies of resource allocation represented in the series: capitalism (Sawyer) vs. socialism (Jack). - personally, i don't think the economics article will be ready in time, tbh. it is an excellent article, which has some approval from the LostPedia community, but it is still too academic. I would like to nominate The Third Policeman.

I know I shouldn't nominate a page I've done myself really, but I wanna nominate Lost The Untold. Hear me out, the reason for the nomination is that, like the DaChepelle-whatsit video, few fans outside the UK probably know about the Untold flash, which has loads of cool stuff in, and I think fans would enjoy it especially at the moment where there's no new episodes.
