The Lost Season 5 (Original Television Soundtrack) was officially released on May 11, 2010 and released a week early to iTunes on May 5, 2010. The soundtrack contains orchestral pieces from the fifth season of Lost. The disc art is the DHARMA logo for the submarine and behind it, Locke and Ben sit at the old beach camp.

Trivia
- "Follow the Leader" is the longest score to be released on the soundtracks at seven minutes and fifty seconds. The previous record was set by Season 4's "Locke of the Island".
- Three of the scores on this soundtrack share their names with episode titles: "LaFleur", "Follow the Leader" and "The Incident, Parts 1 & 2".
- The following episodes have no tracks featured on this soundtrack: "Jughead", "The Little Prince", "This Place Is Death" and "He's Our You".
- Unlike the previous four soundtracks, this release does not include a foreword of any kind in the accompanying booklet.
- In the booklet, it lists track 3 as appearing in "316", and tracks 4, 5, 6 and 7 from "The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham", however it is the opposite. This error is likely due to "316" and "The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham" being swapped in airing order.
