Number of living survivors

The number of mid-section survivors is 37 as of "Through the Looking Glass, Part 2", although the current population of the beach camp is 31 due to the additions of Bernard Nadler (only surviving Tailie not in captivity), Desmond Hume (resident on the Island pre-crash) and Juliet Burke (former Other). Thirteen other mid-section survivors plus Alex (former Other), Karl (former Other), Danielle Rousseau (resident on the island pre-crash) and Benjamin Linus (Other, held in captivity) reside at the Barracks.
