Unlikely that Johnny is a figment of Hurley's imagination (unless one buys into Dave's story athat everything is Hurley imagining things). Starla interacts with him, doesn't she?--Tricksterson 08:09, 10 April 2006 (PDT)

Forgive me if I'm not following proper Wiki ettiquette, but it is impossible for Johnny to have been killed by Hurley in the balcony collapse because that occured before Hurley was put in the mental hospital (that's where he got the numbers to play the lottery which we see him winning in the episode with Johnny). This also applies to Starla.

BACKGROUND
:: it is actually ver un reasonable (sorry to shoot you down) hurley was in the mental institutionbefore he won, Johnney was alive after he got out -- we see them driving around after quitting their jobs when Hurley won the lottery. Hurley wasn't readdmitted, was he?Koolaidman 13:16, 30 April 2006 (PDT)

:::Well you didn't actually read the theory then, because it says after Hurley supposedly killed Johnny he became a figment of his imagination so Hurley could cope with the loss. I'm not a subscriber to this theory anyway, so whoever you "shot down" wasn't me. --skks 15:18, 30 April 2006 (PDT)

I think the theory is that both Starla and Hurley were killed, and thenbrought back by Hurley's mind. So they would be able to interact if they were both in his imagination. Having said that, did they actually interact?

I don't think either Starla or Johhny are figments of Hurley's imagination. It's probably another case of "if it happened once it must be the same with all the others" - like with the name anagrams..
