Karen Decker is a representative of Oceanic Airlines. She was on the search and rescue transport aircraft that took the Oceanic 6 to Kalaeloa Airport where she advised them on what to expect on their return to the real world and the media interest in them. She was later seen moderating the media press conference and deferred difficult questions asked of the survivors. ("There's No Place Like Home, Part 1").
