JD was a flight attendant aboard Flight 815 who appears to be of American origin. He chased down Charlie when he ran to the toilet just before the plane crash, and along with Michelle helped carry Locke to his seat.
JD was first seen as "Flight Attendant #2" in "Pilot, Part 1" and gained a name in the flashback of episode "Exodus, Part 2".
