Frank Thompson is the author of the Lost novelization, Signs of Life.
Thompson is also known as a filmmaker and film historian with a special interest in the history of the Alamo. In 2004 he made a brief cameo appearance in the film The Alamo. He also wrote two books that tied in with the film.
He lives in North Hollywood, California, with his wife Claire.
