• In the "Pilot, Part 1", Charlie is seen running to the front of the plane to enter the toilet. When the plane hits turbulence he leaves the toilet and takes a seat in the very front of the plane. This is interesting since it would appear he emerged from the middle section.
• A set of front section / First Class survivors are living on the Island (or have, they may have died since.) Because of the damage seen in the "Pilot, Part 1", these survivors would have to be few in number.
• Somewhere in the area of the two islands is a group of other survivors. This is because of the smoke shown in one of the opening scences of "Pilot, Part 1". Smoke can be seen heading in 4 different directions. We know where 3 are, but the 4th?
