"We Can Go Dutch" is an orchestral piece from the Season 6 soundtrack. It plays during Sawyer and Juliet's awakening.
Scene description[]
Juliet catches Sawyer trying to fish his candybar from a hospital vending machine. They joke about it, and she suggests restarting the machine so it yields the prize. He tries it. It works.
She hands him the Apollo Bar. The two suddenly remember kissing in the Barracks and Sawyer convincing her years earlier to stay there. Confused, she asks him to coffee, and then suggests they "go Dutch". We then cut to her saying these same words seconds before she died.
The two touch again, and they now remember their lives fully. Clips show Sawyer giving her a flower and them hugging, the two laughing on the docks, them in bed, them kissing. We see them talking after their friends' return, realizing their time "playing house" was done. We see Sawyer trying and failing to keep Juliet from falling down the Swan shaft.
They step away from each other and Juliet starts crying. Sawyer comforts her, and she eventually smiles. They kiss.
Influences[]
The piece is a variation on Juliet's theme.
Title significance[]
The title references the line that Juliet says here and in the premiere.
