Eko's grave was made by the survivors that went to the Pearl station - Locke, Sayid, Desmond, Nikki and Paulo. It is located near the Pearl and the Beechcraft in a forested area.

Locke had decided to have a small, quiet service and bury the body in a location other than the graveyard. He claimed that people back at the camp had seen too much death lately.

The grave is located where the Monster attacked Eko and left him to die. It is not far from the Pearl, and according to Locke about an hour away from the beach camp.

Eko's stick[]

The grave was marked with Eko's Jesus stick. After delivering a speech about Eko, Locke saw two lines Eko wrote on the stick, which lead him on another journey:

  • Lift Up Your Eyes and Look North John 3:05
  • John 3:5 in the King James version of the Bible states "Jesus answered, 'Verily, verily I say unto thee, unless a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God.'"
  • Locke follows a bearing of North 305 which leads them to the Flame. ("Enter 77")
