Sawyer[]

Sawyer isn't listed here, but I can't figure out how to get him added. Dujoducom 22:06, 9 March 2006 (PST)

Nevermind, I'm a moron.. listed as his real name. Dujoducom 22:07, 9 March 2006 (PST)

Should characters be listed here if they are also in a sub-category?[]

  • My vote would be "no" but I'm not sure what the intended purpose of this category was. I'd like to see the characters placed into one or more of the sub-categories and use this topic to catch characters who don't fit anywhere else, which, I think at this point is only Turniphead. (see also my comments in the "related characters" category.) -- Elvis 19:50, 27 March 2006 (PST)

AFAIK the category listings are created automatically, there might be a switch in the mediawiki settings to prevent upper level categories listing the contexts of lower level. I think it's much more simpler this way ie. when you don't know in what section a certain character would be, you don't need to go through all the subcategories but you can check the main one. --skks 00:08, 28 March 2006 (PST)

  • Yes, the listing is automatic, but if you exclude "Category:Characters" they won't be listed here also. For example, if you put someone in "Category:Characters" and "Category:Deceased Characters" they will show up on both lists, but if you just put them under "Category:Deceased Characters" they won't show on the "Category:Characters" list. -- Elvis 08:10, 28 March 2006 (PST)

Unanswered Questions[]

I added an Unanswered Questions section to every character article that needs it. (What made Locke use the use of his legs, questions like that, are on the related character's page.) If you think of any more, please add them to the related character's page for me, please. Lost On Craphole Island 07:33, 17 June 2006 (PDT)

A idea for the season categories[]

I dunno a central place to propose things like this, but how about having two subcategories for each season category? They'd be season (#) main characters and season (#) recurring characters. Main characters is for everyone with star billing, recurring is for anyone who appeared in more than one episode of that season, and the main category would be for characters who were only in one episode of the season. The recurring category would probably not count extras. So Boone, for instance, would be under season one main characters, season two characters, and season three recurring characters...Just an idea. --Golden Monkey 17:13, November 30, 2009 (UTC)

Nice idea Golden Monkey, but if you look on the characters page like Boone you said you see already in which seasons he appeared.--Station7 17:15, November 30, 2009 (UTC)

Added several of the character templates to this page[]

Yesterday I was trying to find a group of characters (main characters) and was dismayed by the hundreds of names with no organization. I must have missed some of the templates on the page.

So I added:

to the bottom of this category, below this list is the hundreds of pages. I did this to help navigation for future editors and readers. Thanks. Anno1404 18:00, May 17, 2010 (UTC)

Alex Rousseau[]

For some reason Alex is underneath A in this category, while she should probably be under R. I'm not sure how to fix this.--Mildlyclever 20:19, May 25, 2010 (UTC)
