Burditt was a former Other who defected to the Man in Black's side following the Temple massacre. He told Zoe, "Hands up! Stop right there" when she came to give The Man in Black Widmore's ultimatum and demand the return of the "package". ("The Last Recruit") He was not seen on the beach when Widmore's team attacked with bombs in the group, so it was among those who survived the war.
