Brokeback Island is a fan-made parody video inspired by the feature film Brokeback Mountain.
Having a good time!
The success of Brokeback Mountain has inspired pop culture parodies referencing same sex pairings of characters from many stories such as Back To the Future, SpongeBob Squarepants, Fight Club, He-Man, Scrubs, The Three Stooges, Good Will Hunting, The Muppets and, of course, Lost.
- In a June 2006 article in Details Magazine, Josh Holloway came home to find his wife Yessica Kumala downloading "Brokeback Island" and emailing a link to J.J. Abrams.
It appears there are at least five versions: one with Jack and Locke, and four with Jack and Sawyer. It is possible there are more.
