Brandon was a member of the freighter crew. Minkowski said he and Brandon left the freighter in the ship's tender and attempted to see the Island, but had to turn back when Brandon started "acting crazy". Although what happened next is unknown, Minkowski said that Brandon is now "in a body bag". ("The Constant")
