Was anyone else upset by how they completely ignored the numbers mystery? If the writers make a significant mystery like that, they owe the fans to answer it.

I have been thinking about this today and in the Pilots there were clues which could lead us to think about Jacob.

    • Jack Shephard - count to five on a 16 year-old girl (The Incident, Part 2)
    • Hurley - talking about the dead pilot (The Incident, Part 2)
    • Kate - Stealing (The Incident, Part 1)
    • Jin and Sun's relationship (The Incident, Part 1)
    • Sayid and Nadia (The Incident, Part 1)
    • Sawyer - Sawyer's letter (The Incident, Part 1)

Locke is the only character who has a flashback and can't relate it to the Pilots. --Station7 21:23, May 30, 2012 (UTC)

    I miss Lost.

    May 24, 2012 by Crazy4lost

I miss this show so much.

It's been two years, but it really still feels like yesterday it ended. Lost was everything to me, it's all I thought about, all I wanted to talk about, and watching it was all I wanted to do. Lost helped me through difficult times, it taught me the importance of forgiveness and mercy, it taught me how to accept death.

Now, two years later, I can see and feel the absence of it on my life. I can't accept death anymore, and I can't watch the final 10 minutes of the series because I feel like I failed myself, letting myself slip back into my state before this show. This show taught me the most important things about life, and now after it being two years, after seeing where life is now, and where it's headed, I keep fe…

Most of my friends who know me, especially those who follow me on Facebook and/or Twitter, know just how obsessed I am with LOST -- a series that went off the air two years ago today. Several times throughout the week, I'll post quotes from the show or minor theories or just random thoughts about events depicted on the show. Yet despite that, there are certain things that you'll never hear me say, which I've seen expressed by several other die-hard LOST fans: "I miss LOST!" "I want more LOST!" "Damon and Carlton, please bring back LOST!"

Sure, I understand the sentiment behind these expressions. LOST was such a great show, and we thoroughly enjoyed the excitement of watching a new episode every week, and we miss having that excitement to …

These days have been so great actually I haven't had time to write. I've made many friends and one of their leaders, Beatrice, told me that I can live here if I want. I wanted to say yes but alas, I have a life to get back to. I tell her that I just want to go home. She says she understands but tells me there is one condition. I have to go back to the camp for a few days and infiltrate. She says I need to keep a close eye on Walt; watch his every move. My least favorite episode of LOST the first time around was Tricia Tanaka is Dead. Something about an entire episode devoted to Hurley starting up an old van left me wondering if the writers had lost their way.

The van that Hurley finds is a Volkswagen Type 2, also known in Australia and other parts of the world as a Kombi (short for combination).

    I Have to Go Back!

    April 8, 2012 by LJofSpades

I have a confession to make: I have not re-watched a single episode of LOST since the finale aired almost 2 years ago. I have purchased the Complete Collection box-set on DVD, watched a few extras and watched The New Man in Charge; but an episode from the series proper has not made my watch-list thus far.

There are a couple of reasons for this:

    1. I'm one of those fans (and I am indeed a massive fan) that was not too satisfied with season 6; although, over time, it has grown on me and, regardless, the satisfaction that the previous 5 seasons provided were more than enough to vindicate any negative feeling.

    2. I had re-watched these previous 5 seasons in quite dense runs in the lead-up to the final season; so I felt I needed a break from the ser…

had pretty much the weirdest title of all episodes. We got that it connected Soe Like It Hot and Star Wars, but we weren't really sure what the first of them had to do with the episode. We wrote, in the article "The movie starred Jack Lemmon and and Tony Curtis as two bumbling men on a mission, like Hurley and Miles." Apparently none of us had actually seen the movie; I know I hadn't, and when I did, the connection became clear: the movie gets its title from a line of dialog where people talk about differing musical tastes. One person likes jazz. has a similar conversation - Dr. Change talks of how he likes country but his wife likes jazz.

Also, in What They Died For, Jack gets the water, and is told "You're like me now," but it didn't stop him from being killed by MIB/corporeal Person. And when he gave the water to Hurley, who's to say it did anything? Except for having the ability to move off-Island at varioud TIMES, there really isn't any special healing power that is definitive. We see Jacob with Ilana, but did he heal her, really?
