Ok, here it goes

Some time ago, please help me anyone who has also seen it, i was browsing amongst all the websites related to TLE that i could... One of them, i can't remember which one, led me into some kind ok secret website... i remember thar it was related to some kind of science (a genetics or electromagnetics company site). I know that it was listed right here, in lostpedia. I dont know why, but i looked into the source code of that site's the main page, than i found another URL. It was some kind of site that has lots and lots of sketches, showing people (most of them asian people) in different ages... there has a drawing of someone aged 3, then the same person aged 15, then 25, 53, i dont know... many different ages. I never seen it again... And i…

Jin??? Please clarify.

I'm confused about the whole Jin situation. It seems that when the group were being attacked and then ended up in the storm, at the same time Danielle found Jin? But, that wouldn't work because when Sawyer's group pulls up on the land, they see the wreckage and say it's pretty recent. But the thing is, no one is there. When Jin is shown waking up the morning after Danielle saves him, they're on the beach they wrecked on. So, if Sawyer's group and Jin are both traveling through time at the same time, wouldn't Sawyer's group have found Jin and the group on the beach, and not just their wreckage? I don't understand.

Theories and some other stuff.

After seeing Jin traveling through time, I was doubtful about the aforementioned "radius" of the Island. How come Jin, which was last time we saw, in a exploding boat, be nearer than the helicopter that fled it a few seconds before? Daniel and the zodiac seemed plausible, but Jin?? That led me to this theory:

Helicopter was within radius, but somehow didn't move. It made the moving system go wrong, causing the islanders to move randomly through time. That's why the Oceanic Six (plus Desmond [and Frank?]) must return: The island is missing something that had to move altogether.

I have no evidence to sustain my theory, but hasn't counterevidence either. I'm not in the "omgtheislandhasconsciousness" and "theoceanicsixareitsconstant" mood yet.

Widmore, The Others, Numbers and more.

Theory:

There are two factions of 'Others'. Richard's 'Others' who just want to be left alone to go about their business, and a more pro-active bunch eventually led by Widmore who want to use the secrets of the Island to become rich and powerful. Widmore is secretly involved in bringing DHARMA to the Island.

Widmore had been selected as 'Leader' of all the 'Others' by this time but in 1984/1985 the conflict of ideology between Richard and Widmore+DHARMA comes to a head resulting in the incident noted on the Blast Door Map. The Island is moved, Widmore is banished from the Island, and DHARMA on the Island lose contact with the outside world. Richard's 'Others' take over some parts of the Island infrastructure including all means to leave the …

Things i have figured out!!

ok so here is a list of my thoughts:

1. ellie (the girl who took dan to the bomb) is ms hawking who is dans mom.

2. miles is the man in the dharma videos son.(they showed the man getting up to feed the baby and i think that is miles)

3. annie is libby or charlotte (guessing)

4. locke will come back to life on the island

5. jack will die in the last episode of the show and will become "adam" since everything in their lives is soo messed up now and he is a "fixer" and does whatever it takes to help

6. maybe ms hawking is penny's mom---making dan and penny like a jack/claire relation

7. libby was apart of dharma at one point

8. in next episode when sun tries to kill jack/ben kate will show jack she still cares about him and try to protect him

9. aaron…

Lockes dead?

Hmm , this is probably already a highly debatable and topical subject.

But , Locke is obviously not dead , in the Paulo/Nikki centric episode , we were purposely introduced to the Medusa Spider and the paralytic like venom it excretes from a bite which lasts for at least 8 hours. We do not however follow Locke's body from it being deposited at the Butchers. Its entirely possible that Locke's body is somewhat in a hibernation state , preparing for his re-awakening back on the island.

So its entirely possible , Locke does not have to die , but instead perceiving the image of himself being dead , means they have to back to the island , while he is at all possible , asleep in the coffin with a heart rate lower then a doctor could hear ( something…

Fans demand answers

Many fan sites are protesting to the newest season of lost indeed the new season has lost ratings fans claim they are getting bored and want answers many have said is they want small answers not big ones, but all the new season is doing is posing new one. many want to know what is to come of the numbers, many fan are asking the creator of lost to consider writing these things to the script I have said before on fan sites that the 'hurley bird' is what i want to know about. And what happened to the people taken from the back end of flight 815 and why didn't the same thing happened to the other survivors? too many questions with no answers Should the creator answers them just to boost rating?

Things that make you go... "hmmmm..."

I wonder if any of the Oceanic Six ever listen to Drive Shaft.

Why did Danielle Rousseau record her repeating distress message only in French, when she speaks several other languages, including English?

How could Sayid have worked as a chef in Paris, and still need Shannon's help translating French??

Have any of the groups who ever occupied the Island ever even bothered to name it, instead of always calling it "the island"??

I wonder if Bernard ever got back his Phil Collins tape that Sawyer stole, or if he even noticed it was missing.

Did the Others actually take the time to reload the fish biscuit dispenser for Sawyer, or had those things been in there since the Dharma Initiative days?

I wonder if the Dharma Initiative is eco-friendly... or if…

Theory about Thomas / Ben

I have a theory: Thomas (Claire's boyfriend, aaron's father) is, actually, Ben. Ben, when younger, traveled in time (to future) and got out of the island, met Claire in Australia and got her pregnant. Evidences: His (Thomas') paintings were inside the hatch (the swan). After we know that Charles Widmore lived on the island as a young men, is easy to figure out why he have one of the paintings in his office's wall. The name of the last episode (The Little Prince) says a lot too, and the final evidence is that "the client" os that lawyer is actually Ben. It's all pretty clear to me. Is it to anyone else?

babys on the isalnd

Is it possible that the reason women who become pregnant on the island die during pregnancy is that maybe the fetus is developing at a slower than normal rate in the womb and it is somehow screwing around with the way the mother's body reacts? It seems that if you are not a native of the island, you age normally or at least close to it. That would explain why Ben aged normally, as did Walt, Alex, Aaron, etc.. pretty much everyone who did not originate from the island, but the "natives" seem to age at a slower rate and perhaps the fetus ages at a slower rate as well which the mother's body may not be able to handle. If the mother leaves the island then maybe the mother starts to age normally and the fetus "catches up" which would explain Su…

some thoughts...

Hey Everyone,

I also think that myles and annie have previously been on the island before, due to their nose bleeds. Myles is the asian scienctist son born on the island and Charlotte is most likely Annie, bens childhood friend but maybe changed her name for unkown reasons....what do you think??

also i think that the whispers on the island are really the survivors of 815 talking as they go through time, eventually even maybe running into each other at some point in time

Adam and Eve End the Show

I've got only one major theory in regards to LOST in the long run, and it revolves around the series finale and the two mysterious corpses found in the caves earlier in the series identified only as "Adam and Eve."

The producers of the show have said two things about LOST that give me a vague idea of who Adam and Eve are:

1) They say the placement of the two bodies proves their knowledge of where the show was going from the beginning. 2) They say the end of the entire series will be typical of LOST in its shock factor.

I believe the show will completely close with the revelation of who the two bodies are. I've even heard a rumor that we won't know the true nature of the smoke monster until the final episode, so why not also Adam and Eve?

THE NUMERS MAKE SENSE!

Hey Eveyone,

So this is my thought about why the numbers exist.... i think that in the episode "Jughead" when the bomb is revealed Daniel tells Ellie to burry the bomb. He says that it is a hydrogen bomb and that the most sensible thing to do would be to burry it so it doesnt detinate since he is from the future. He tells her that the island will be just fine 50 years from now. I beleve that possibly the army developed a sequence of the numbers which add up to the sum of 108 that was a specific code to keep the buried bomb in tact. This may be why Desmond once said "just saving the world",and when the numbers were not typed into the computer the hatch where the bomb may have been located imploded and the sky turned purple due to the hydroge…

Theory

So I have this theory; it links the monster (the black smoke), why Richard Alpert never ages, "The Incident," the purpose of the Arrow, the numbers, ect. It might link other things too.... So the Arrow, the place where Horace Godspeed worked (he was a mathematician), was the place where the Dharma Initiative tested electromagnetic energy in numbers. Some numbers would have too much harnessed electromagnetic energy, and some would have too little. The numbers (4 8 15 16 23 42) were the numbers that had the perfect amount of electromagnetic energy (that may be why the numbers are so "lucky"). "The Incident" was when some numbers that were tested had too much electromagnetic energy, and electromagnetic energy (that had the potential to be har…

Bodies

Is Locke's body the key to returning to the island? I'm just throwing out ideas to get some feedback. I'm thinking that Christian Shepard was the cause of the Oceanic crash. After he dies his body had to return to the island(assuming he had been there before). Also could this be the reason the Black Rock is on the island? Was it carrying Magnus Hanso's body?

Adam and Eve

As Season 5 is centered about the Island's moves in time, and the possibility of stopping it, I'm more and more convinced that Adam and Eve are actually two characters we know/are about to meet in Season 5, posibbly those characters are going to die in the past and stop moving with the Island and are left in the Caves, becoming the Adam and Eve we get to know in Season 1. Other possiblity is that the Island stops moving and the Losties are left in the Island's past and die of natural causes (or the Sickness?), while residing at the Caves.

The Little Prince

This episode was a little disappointing for me. The opening scene seemed completely unnecessary; what's that? Jack's going to ask the 6 to lie tomorrow? Kate's going to KEEP Aaron?!? From a storytelling point of view we learn nothing and it just bloats the episode. The adventures of those left on the island are bound to be interesting, with the time swings bringing them to various important parts in the islands history. However, maybe this is just me but I don't feel that "Sawyer misses Kate" is a particulary suitable C storyline, nor one that needed to be dragged through the whole episode. Yes we already know that, no we don't need to be hit over the head with it, "How did it make you feel seeing Kate again?" asks Juliet. This is a woman …

Hurry Up and Return the Jedi, Please

Don't get me wrong, I love LOST. I love it because it combines my favorite genres: it is a terrific mystery (with legitimate clues) and a wonderful character stody. It does these things so well in fact, that I've been brought along to enjoy the funky sci-fi aspect, which is not usually my gig. Particularly Seasons One and Three had it all: tension, intrigue, hope, humor, literary techniques, Biblical symbolism, and that wonderful character development. I believed (and I'm saying this as a former English teacher) that it was well on its way to becoming a film masterpiece. Then came Season Four with those very melancholy Flashforwards. The Season Five opener was a disappointment as well. Go back to your roots. Focus on your charac…

The Little Prince

My thoughts on 5x04 - The Little Prince

I felt that adventures on the Island in the episode was a bit slow. However I liked how they traveled back to the time where the 815s were present. When I saw that light, I immeadiately knew it was the Hatch and why Locke wanted to avoid going to check out the light (the others were unaware of what it was/when they were). And seeing Kate and Claire.

I wonder who were shooting at Sawyer and crew (Haha! Pun!) when they were out in the ocean. And who messed up the beach camp? Where did the Arija Airways water bottle come from? Did a plane from that airline crash with the Oceanic 6 aboard?

About Dan Norton and related-drama, me and my mom guessed that the client was actually Ben when we saw the little twist with…

Hurley Bird is one of George's birds

If you recall the Volvic mineral water commercials, George (who is a very real volcano played by Matt Berry) was always accompanied by a flock of birds. Being that George is the driving force behind the island (proven at some point, I'unno), this bird is one of his, and its presence is to be taken as a message of impending doom, much like Martha Stewart or My Chemical Romance is for our world.

Also, the four-toed statue is a Martian's foot, turned to stone in an epic Kaijou fight between the Martian and Medusa. Hurley is really Jesus.

The language of "the enlightened"

In "Jughead" Juliet says that the others speak Latin because it is "the language of the enlightened." The word "enlightened" translates into the Latin word "Illuminati" (plural) or "Illuminatus" (sigular). "The Illuminati" historically refers to what are supposed to be a secret society that are the subject of conspiracy theories (lately, the New World Order - Novus Ordo Seclorum if you look under the pyramid on the back of your dollar bill) and mentioned prominently in such works as (of course) The Illuminatus! Trilogy by Robert Shea and Robert Anton Wilson. So, perhaps the authors are making an analogy (or more than an analogy) between Richard Alpert and his crew and the Bavarian Illuminati. Freemasons...The Temple, etc. And why hasn't an…

Lost 4Ever Getting Started

Hey! I'm trying to get people interested in my Fan Fiction. It's a side story to what's happening on the show. It can be read here. Just like the show, it's necessary to read every chapter to understand completely. Also, it's necessary to be familiar with the three Lost novels (Secret Identity, Endangered Species, and Signs of Life) and the video game episodes (Force Majeure, A New Day, Via Domus, Forty-Two, Hotel Persephone, Whatever It Takes, Worth a Thousand Words). However, reading the Lostpedia synosis of each of these would likely be sufficient knowledge. In addition to the Lostpedia articles of the novels and the video games, I have written a brief summary of what's happened during seasons 1-4 and the Lost Chronicles. It has three p…

locke is the lock on the lock

here is my overarching theory in a nutshell... in the world of LOST, time as we all would experience it does not "naturally" flow in a linear manner. it is scattershot like in slaughterhouse five. however at some point four-toed aliens came along and built a machine that made time flow in a linear manner, a way that humans can comprehend. that machine is the island. the island is very important. it is a lock on time, making it run straight. but all locks can be picked. so there must be a lock on the lock. and locke is the lock on the lock. he is what will or will not keep the island (a machine that keeps time flowing in a logical way in which humans can experience life without going nuts) working properly.

LOST Theory After Season Premiere

A little late on this since I just found this site, sorry. But it was written immediately after the episode.

Here is my guess after the first episode of Season 5, which is completely different than my guess after Season 1, which could be completely different after seeing the next episode.....Locke is Jacob and he is hanging in time until he gets reset. The easiest way for that to happen is for Locke to give Alpert the compass at the very beginning of the story when Alpert comes to his house as a child (give me the compass next time you see me). If that would happen, everything else would, kind of, fall into place. This means that Locke would come to the island early, learn about the island and take the lead when he's supposed to instead of …
