"Blessings and Bombs" is an orchestral piece on the Season 5 soundtrack.
Scene description[]
In a flashback, Jacob blesses Sun and Jin at their wedding. Back on the island, Hurley, Miles, Jack, Jin and Sayid are in the Dharma van. They stop when they see Sawyer, Kate and Juliet blocking their way.
Influences[]
The piece opens with Jacob's theme. Most of it is an action-variant of the first traveling theme, which later blends with Team Widmore's Motif. It ends on Jack's motif.
Title significance[]
The title refers to Jacob's blessing Sun and Jin's marriage and to the bomb Jack's group transport.
