Comic-con OGR2

Dharmawantsyou.com is a website to apparently be launched on July 28th as part of the presumed new Lost alternate reality game running during the hiatus between Seasons 4 and 5. A newsletter email from Octagon Global Recruiting identified the site as a place where volunteers can be assessed for their eligibility to join their project. It is stated that this will be for a limited time only, though the specifics of this are as of yet unknown.

Currently, the site contains only "DHARMA WANTS YOU" and the additional tag "Coming Soon". However, an octagon has been slowly appearing on the site in the form of dots, and a logo seen at Comic Con seems to perfectly correspond with this. Reports from Comic Con have also revealed that candidates who take the first Octagon Global Recruiting test can enter their ID codes on the site when it has launched to enter "phase 2".

Dharma IDcard

After taking the aptitude test as part of the Octagon Global Recruiting drive, participants are given an ID card with a code on the back. This can be entered on the Dharmawantsyou.com website to enter "phase 2" of the application process. Flyers given out at Comic Con also reiterated that if you cannot get an appointment in person, applications can be made online from July 28th.

Trivia

DHARMA butterfly2

The first set of black dots.

  • Since the site's launch, dots have been added on a daily basis to the main page. If the pattern continues, they will form a DHARMA logo matching the one seen at Comic-Con. It is anticipated that the pattern will complete in line with Comic-Con. The image sequences are available as follows (note that they are difficult to notice without image editing):
  • So far on July 24th's Dharmawantsyou.com image 5.jpg, 5 of the 8 icons that complete the Comic-Con octagon are traceable on a laser printed image from the site. It took some time to compare and darken the dots on the laser print compared to what you can barely see on the web site.
