So im on Season 5 of the rewatch and this stuck out like a sore thumb. Se5 e11, What Happened, Happened. Miles is talking with Hurley about time travel. The only time it was described, was by Daniel as 'A skipping record'.

Ben turned the wheel and left the island, John didnt know how he did it, because he was none the wiser when he went down, MIB as Christian told him what to do. Then John left the island. The fact there was a wheel was not discovered until Daniel returns to the island to the Swan site (where they dig a tunnel that must join The Orchid).

So at no time has anyone with the information about how the island was moved returned there (albeit in 1977) to tell Miles how the Island was moved.

tbh Im a bit gutted that now I'm watching it without looking for answers to all the mysteries, Im finding a few plot holes.

Though if anyone can point out if I missed anything, then please do tell.

So Im not sure if this has been brought up either (Ive begun a rewatch, and not really joined this forum despite being a HUGE fan of lost, but I digress..)

During the run, the image of Desmond and Penny in front of the marine background turns up many times and held be different people,

How did this happen?

I also always wondered how so many copies of an instant photo were made when Desmond dumped Penny the moment he had the picture taken, would Penny have said 'Hold on a moment love, let me just get a copy of this so I can mope over it for the next three years should you go missing at sea or other unlikely event'

Desmond had the original that he took with him, How did Penny get the copy beside her bed?

I can accept that the image Naomi had could have been taken from the copy Penny had; But how likely was that too? I cannot image CW asking her for a copy for posterity.

I began a rewatch a few weeks ago, and recently got up to Season 3. During 'Flashes Before Your Eyes' there is a scene where after Desmond is leaving his interview with Widmore. He takes his tie off and sees Charlie, He walks up to him, trying to remember where he knows him from. the dialogue is something like

'I know you! How do I know you?

...

You're Charlie!

...

There was a hatch!

I remember seeing you, there was a computer and a button

We were on an island....'

And so on...

But at this point, Desmond has only interacted with the losties for 5 hours or so,

When John turned up, Desmond ran away and wasn't seen again until Shannon's funeral.

During that time, no one really referred to the 'hatch'.

Desmond was taken in by Kelvin, Kelvin had joined Dharma and must have been in the swan with Radzinsky during the purge and Both of those would have referred to the places as 'Stations'.

Desmond uses the term 'hatch' a number of times.

In Orientation 'Marvin Candle' says :

'Welcome, I'm Dr. Marvin Candle, and this is the orientation film for Station 3 of the DHARMA Initiative'

Meaning each site was referred to as 'Stations'

Kelvin would have used the term 'station' or 'bunker' not 'Hatch' from his perspective it was 'The back door'

Desmond should have said 'There was a Station' and would of used this term in preference to 'hatch' as this was a Lostie term and he would have described it how using the terms told to him first.
