I somehow got my grandparents in to lost, and when season 6 ends I just KNOW they'll be confused (understandably) so, how am I going to explain the flash-sideways without making them think they were dead the whole time?

How did he know so much ab Locke? Obviously he needed information about him in order to impersonate him but what I don't understand is how he knew so much.
History teacher ben is the best because A) he wasn't constantly beaten up and B) He was very nice to everyone ☺️
Yes I have watched the show, it can just be confusing at times.
They served Jacob, so why would they try multiple times to kill the candidates?
