Watch it again coz you missed a few things 😂 Season 6 Widmore was on the island after being told by Jacob to bring Desmond as a last resort to stop the MiB from leaving the island in case all other candidates failed.

Someone needs to brush up his physics 😂 That porthole was completely submerged in a non floating body of air. Water, heavier than air, will find the path of least resistance and fill up the pocket of air until its completely full or until the level of water outside gets so low the porthole is not complete submerged anymore. Given its the pacific ocean we are talking about which is of such sheer volume, that will never happen. So… end result.. the room fills up.. Charlie drowns. Dead

Ok. What I am trying to say is that they all look under the impression that the sub was their last and only chance. This while people like Jack have seen michael and walt leave on a boat earlier on. And Jack for one knows there are more boats (he seen the Elizabeth of Desmond). I dont get why he is under the impression his last chance is gone and he doesnt think of taking another boat and do the same as Michael and Walt

On 2nd thought… maybe we have Sayid to blame for shooting him as a boy and leaving him for death. As a direct result, Richard healed him in the Temple which changed Ben forever…

Id say pure evil that deserves no sympathy. So his father wasnt the best father out there but nothing he does justifies him killing all the people Ben did. Everything Ben did was selfish and for Ben and Ben alone. Pure evil selfish Ben ;) Even the 360 he did towards the people who survived the planecrash in the end was purily because he realised his dealings with “The Others” were done.

Read the article of Michael and mainly the part about season 6. Its throroughly explained. Michael is now part of the whispers, and couldn't move on because of that. People in the church were there to move on after they died. Hence, no Michael.

Just a point of notice.. something that sorta disproves your thoughts but will also screw your brain a bit more ;)

The Egyptians apparently encountered the Smoke Monster. In the chamber beneath the Temple wall, Ben discovered a mural appearing to depict the Monster facing the Egyptian god Anubis. (See ep.”Dead is dead”)

So the mib was there before the Egyptians? Uhhhmmm.. Didnt he find a set of Senet on the beach as a 13 year old? Senet.. an old egyptian game????

One thing to think about. With that wheel operational.. Time shifts for the Island is possible.. who knows what has happened in the past???

I mean, even this could have happened:

• Mib finishes wheel

• Wheel is used and time shifts back all the way back to Egyptian times. Thats where the markings comes from.

And since the wheel chamber is the center of all the time shifting... what if time stands still? We see it used a couple of times, yet nothing changes in that room...

The options are endless ?

My interpretation is that they lower Locke into the well, just before the timeflash to the 1800’s. Thats why after the flash, Saywer sees the rope dissapear into solid ground. Coz the well didnt exist back in the 1800’s.

But who says Locke timetravelled with them while being lowered inside the well, falling down into the frozen wheel room?

In other words, we dont know where Locke is or better said, when Locke is when he meets the mib in the form of Christian.

This episode is notable for receiving a widely mixed opinion, with many commentators alternately considering one of the best or worst episodes of the series. I am part of the first group. Without it, the story about Jacob, the MIB and their respective roles on the Island doesnt make sense. So boring.. nah.. not at all. Essential is a better word ? But everybody is entitled on their own view and opinion, right?
