Charlie Pace

Speaking of deaths, Charlie's is widely considered one of the saddest and most tragic in the show's history. However, some people continue to have problems with it owing to the logistics behind the event itself. A Reddit user (whose name has since been deleted) sums it up nicely, claiming, "The 'Not Penny's Boat' scene is way too overrated IMO. Even if Charlie didn't close the door, the water would still only flood about halfway up the room until it stopped (water wouldn't rise above the porthole)."

Does anyone have a theory on what the tapes on Charlie’s hand meant?
