When you paste the link, you have to hit enter for it to recognize

@EliasTheNerd Thanks for trying to help! In the past I've just clicked the green check mark and then it's good to go. I hadn't tried hitting enter before, so per your suggestion I just now did... Still nothing. :/

Oh I never use the insert link option. I copy and paste directly into the comment

@EliasTheNerd Ah. Just tried that. It worked! Although what I liked about inserting the link was that it would show the thumbnail too. This is better than nothing though. Thanks for the help!
