The Widmore family ist eine prominente und vermögender Familien-Clan im Lost-Unversum. Besitzer der Widmore Corporation, hat die Familie ihre Ursprünge von den Schottischen Inseln. Die Widmore Familie is the focus of Bad Twin, with the private investigator Paul Artisan hired to find Zander Widmore by his twin brother Cliff Widmore.

There are two branches of the Widmore family: an American one and a British one.

Family Members

Known members of the Widmore family appearing on Lost are:

Charles Widmore -- rich magnate who made his first appearence in "Live Together, Die Alone." He works to break-up the relationship between Desmond and his daughter Penelope.
Penelope Widmore -- love of Desmond and daughter of Charles Widmore. First appeared in the flesh in "Live Together, Die Alone", although her picture was shown in "Man of Science, Man of Faith." She is possibly working to find Desmond after he got lost on the island.

Widmore family members mentioned in Bad Twin are:

Arthur Widmore -- the head of the family, and CEO of Widmore Corporation.
Clifford Widmore and Alexander Widmore -- the twins.
Vivian Widmore -- Arthur's current wife
Shannon Widmore (deceased) -- wife of Clifford Widmore
Bernard Bryce Widmore (deceased) -- father of the Widmore Dynasty

It is unclear whether the Widmore family represented in Bad Twin are based on actual people or fictional constructs based on the real family. The book does refer to other "real" characters, including Alvar Hanso and Thomas Mittelwerk.
