Cliffhanger

Ein Cliffhanger ist ein Ende einer Fernsehserie, Seifenoper oder eines Films, welches abrupt eintritt und die Hauptcharaktere oft in brenzligen oder schwierigen Situationen zurücklässt. Diese Art von Ende wird benutzt um sicher zu gehen, dass die Zuschauer die nächste Episode sehen, um zu erfahren wie der Cliffhanger gelöst wird. Viele Lost Episoden enden mit einem Cliffhanger oder gehen mit einem in die Werbung.
